Meet Dr Mareli Fischer


Dr Mareli Fischer is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Gardens, Cape Town, since 2013. She works with adolescents, young adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community, with special focus on grief, relationship and intimacy issues.


She holds a Master's in Clinical Psychology (Stellenbosch University, 2010), and has completed her PhD through UCT with research focused on parenting interventions and the functional impact of ADHD on children and families.

This session will be hosted by Dr Elna Rudolph

Dr Elna Rudolph is the Clinical Head of My Sexual Health. She currently serves as the President of the World Association for Sexual Health and is a Director of the African Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, Sexual Health Africa, and the Southern African Sexual Health Association. 


She holds a medical degree from the University of Pretoria, a Master’s in Sexual Health from the University of Sydney, a Higher Diploma in HIV Medicine and Sexual Health through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa, and a Fellowship in Sexual Medicine from the European Committee of Sexual Medicine.

Since February 2021, we’ve been hosting free monthly webinars to make credible, medically accurate sexual health education more accessible to everyone.


So far, we’ve delivered over 40 live sessions, reaching more than 10,000 people, including healthcare professionals, curious learners, and individuals seeking support.
